Today, Bibleless peoples in the Americas, Africa, Asia, the Pacific region and Europe are still waiting for God’s Word in their own language.
Wycliffe USA is committed to doing its part in raising the resources needed to see God’s Word made accessible to all people in a language that speaks to their heart. That means mobilizing people to go and serve in a variety of roles; raising funds to support translation projects everywhere; and engaging an ever-increasing audience with the vision and mission of Bible translation. It’s at the heart of our work through The Last Languages Campaign and our mission: Vision 2025—to see a Bible translation program started in every language that needs one by the year 2025. And through it all though, we believe our greatest and most strategic resource is prayer.
Vision 2025 is a God-sized calling. We can’t do it on our own; it can only be done through Him. How else will Wycliffe USA and other Bible translation organizations start more than 2,250 Bible translations by the year 2025? It seems humanly impossible, because it is.
