Gospel transformation comes as we read God’s Word and learn to apply it to our everyday living. It happens as we let God transform us into new creations by changing the way we think. Translating the Bible Into Action, a book by Scripture use and engagement coordinators Harriet Hill and Margaret Hill, encourages meaningful ways to make the Bible relevant in all languages and cultures through both written and oral media. A country in South Asia wants to translate the book into its national language to use for teaching and training Scripture use principles.
- Praise God for this opportunity to teach people how to let the translated Word affect their daily living.
- Ask God to use this book to bring about Gospel transformation in this South Asian country.
- Pray for a translation that communicates the principles in a culturally appropriate way and is completed in a timely manner.
- Pray that an agreement will be made with a local translator to begin work soon.
