According to Dictionary.com, the word revival is defined as “restoration to life, consciousness, vigor, strength.” Thefreedictionary.com defines it as “a reawakening of faith or renewal of commitment.” Both definitions apply to the Alyawarr people group of Australia. During the Alyawarr Easter Convention, God stirred among His people and inspired a renewal and reawakening of their faith that has not subsided. This has led to greater demand for more Alyawarr Scripture books, song books, and Christian music CDs.
- Ask God to use the translated Word and worship resources in the Alyawarr language to strengthen His people and to build the Church.
- Pray that the Church in this language area will learn to disciple new believers.
- Pray that God will use this revival to bring nearby language groups to an understanding of His love for all people and the new life that can be theirs in Jesus Christ.
